A Raymond store was robbed Wednesday around 3 pm.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reports the armed robbery happened at Mosier’s IGA (pictured), 21701 State Route 347.
A white male handed the clerk a note asking for money and showed a black-handled handgun in his waist band.
The clerk complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect left the store and fled in an older-model gold Honda with rust on it and a red rag over the license plate.
The suspect is described as being in his early twenties, wearing a white T-shirt, dark shorts, and white sneakers. He also wore a straw “cowboy” style hat and a white cloth that partially covered his face.
Deputies responded and search the area for the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
