An 8-year-old boy from Battle Creek, Michigan died from a suspected drowning Saturday night around 6:45.
The Bellefontaine Police Department responded to the swimming pool (pictured) at High Point Apartments, 420 Kent Drive.
Bellefontaine Fire and EMS transported Jeremiah Whitt to Mary Rutan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Whitt was visiting family at the apartment.
Several other people were in or around the pool during the incident.
Officers continue their investigation.
The Logan County Coroner's Office assisted at the scene.
It's the third drowning in Logan County this year.
