Budding artists contrast with accomplished creators at the Logan County Fair Fine Arts display in the Grange Building.
Monday evening area experts selected the best of this year's entries in the creative competition.
Longtime local artist Forrest Amidon (pictured left) judged the junior divisions and was impressed with the efforts of the county's young artists.
Bellefontaine 12-year old Nikolas Feasel took home the best of show ribbon in the 9-to-12 year old category for his colorful drawing of a tricycle using wax paper. (pictured right)

Meantime, in the adult competition, retired art professor Steve McInturff chose a local favorite for his overall Best In Show.
Experienced artist and owner of downtown Bellefontaine's Artistic Treasures store Pat Rinehart-Irwin (pictured left) won for her mixed media painting using papers and acrylic.
