The T-Bone Steer and Dairy Steer competitions took place at the Logan County Fair on Wednesday. Both competitions were judged by Bob Agle of Clark County.
Tyler Myers (pictured left, shaking judge's hand) of Rushsylvania added Grand Champion T-Bone Steer to his increasingly long list of 4-H wins on Wednesday.
Reserve Grand Champion T-Bone Steer went to Kelsey Lininger (pictured below) of East Liberty.

In the T-Bone Rate of Gain competition, Kelsey Lininger took home 1st. Her T-Bone Steer's daily gain was 3.15 pounds. The total gain of her T-Bone Steer was 668 pounds. Lininger won a $25 gift card from Buckeye Wash'n'Tan. 2nd place went to Chris Cox. His T-Bone Steer had a daily gain of 2.87 pounds and a total gain of 610 pounds. His prize was $15 from Buckeye Wash'n'Tan. Lininger also took home 3rd place and the award was $10 from Buckeye Wash'n'Tan. Her 3rd place T-Bone Steer had a daily gain of 2.78 pounds and a total gain of 591 pounds.
