Eric Topp of Botkins judged the Dairy Show on Friday.
Topp selected Irene Winner of Bellefontaine as Champion Junior Showmanship, and Ruth Winner, also of Bellefontaine, as Reserve Junior Showmanship. He said he is excited for these youth to move up to Senior Showmanship in the next few years, as they were all outstanding showmen.

The judge's hardest decision came from Senior Showmanship. Topp commented, "This is the most important class in the dairy show." He finally chose Kris Ackley of East Liberty as Champion Senior Showmanship and Kyle McGuire of West Liberty as Reserve Senior Showmanship.

Ackley went on to sweep the Grand Champion Holstein awards by taking home Champion Female Holstein and Junior Champion Female Holstein. His brother, Kyle Ackley, took home Reserve Champion Female Holstein, while McGuire earned Reserve Junior Champion Female Holstein.
McGuire had a strong performance as the show went on, taking home Champion Female Jersey and Junior Champion Female Jersey.
Some new names came to the forefront as Hillary Jackson of DeGraff and brother Samuel Jackson received Champion Female Brown Swiss and Reserve Champion Female Brown Swiss, respectively. Ella Jackson earned Junior Champion Female.
Siblings Tyler Rose (pictured right) and Mikayla Rose of Bellefontaine swept the Aryshire awards by bringing home Junior Champion Female Aryshire and Reserve Junior Female Aryshire, respectively.
