A city man was recently arrested on a warrant for two felony counts of rape.
Timothy Showens (pictured), 49, of 700 Township Road 179, Apt. 7C, was arrested at his residence Friday night around 9:20.
Showens allegedly molested an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl.
The girls' father contacted the Bellefontaine Police Department last November.
The Logan County Prosecutor's Office reports that Showens failed a polygraph test.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail late Friday.
