A Bellefontaine woman was involved in two crashes within an hour Wednesday morning.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office responded to both accidents.
Deputies report that Debra Dearth, 47, of 402 East Columbus Avenue, was driving an '88 Dodge pickup eastbound on County Road 10 near the Zanesfield Corportation limit when she fell asleep, then went off the right side of the road and struck a traffic sign and a pile of wood around 7:50.
Dearth, who was not injured, was wearing her seat belt.
She was cited for failure to control.
The pickup suffered moderate damage.
About 45 minutes later, Dearth was headed westbound on State Route 287 just east of County Road 178 (near West Liberty) when she fell asleep, then drove off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Dearth was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.
She was wearing her seat belt.
Deputies issued another citation for failure to control.
The truck was heavily damaged.
