One-vehicle crash injures two; two lodged in jail - Sunday Law Enforcement notes

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash Saturday evening.

At 9:16 Tyler Arvin, 23, Huntsville was westbound on Township Road 37 in a 2000 Ford Explorer when he went left of center and then came back across the roadway, striking a ditch and overturning.

Arvin was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS with incapacitating injuries, as was a passenger in the Explorer, Dillion Rhoades, 26, Huntsville.

Arvin was initially charged with failure to control. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor.

The accident remains under investigation.

In other law enforcement notes, two people were booked into the Logan County Jail overnight.

The Bellefontaine Police picked up June C. Artis on a Contempt of Court charge at 9:00 Saturday night and Robert L. Shoffner Jr. was jailed on Contempt of Court and Falsification at 5:30 Sunday morning by the Bellefontaine Police.
