A Columbus man was arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop on the city’s west side Monday morning around 1:30.
Matthew Fisher (pictured), 43, of 1982 Myrtle Avenue, was reportedly driving the wrong way on Walker Street. Officers stopped him in the 400 block of West High Avenue.
Moments after the stop, police found a .32-caliber handgun wrapped in a towel in plain view.
Officers recovered heroin in a coin dispenser and a pipe in a cloth bag.
Fisher was charged with possession of a weapon under disability, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
