The Logan County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the child that suddenly passed away earlier this week.
Shawna Scott, 2, of 8890 Township Road 239, Lot 58, Russells Point, started choking at her residence Sunday afternoon around two o'clock.
Scott was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS. She was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Logan County Coroner Dr. Michael Failor continues to investigate the cause of death.
