A city man was arrested following a traffic stop near downtown Tuesday afternoon around one o'clock.
Keith Brown Jr. (pictured), 32, of 817 Heritage Court, Apt. 66, was stopped after he pulled into 229 East Chillicothe Avenue.
An officer in an unmarked cruiser saw Brown driving a '79 Olds Cutlass eastbound in the 200 block of West Sandusky Avenue and followed him to East Chillicothe Avenue.
The officer knew that Brown had a suspended license and asked him why he was driving.
Brown said, "I don't know. I was driving to see a friend."
Police found marijuana on the floorboard of the car.
Brown was charged with possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The vehicle, owned by Tisha Lyburtus, was impounded.
