A Bellefontaine community leader died at age 94 Sunday.
Margaret Helen Hilliker, of Bellefontaine and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away in her home surrounded by family, friends, and caregivers.
Margaret was born on February 24, 1918 in Cincinnati, OH. She married her husband Donald McMillen Hilliker on April 29, 1942.
The couple is known for their contributions to a local community center for which they are named after, the Don M. and Margaret Hilliker YMCA located in Bellefontaine.
Local attorney Bill Montgomery was president of the YMCA board when the Hillikers made a donation of 1.5 million dollars to culminate the building project.

Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church of Bellefontaine, 117 North Main Street, or the Don M. and Margaret Hilliker YMCA, 300 Sloan Boulevard, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
The immediate family will celebrate Margaret’s life at the First United Presbyterian Church in Bellefontaine Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock.
