A city man was charged with two counts of rape Friday afternoon following a brief investigation by the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Michael Williams (pictured), 35, of 700 Township Road 179, Apt. 3C, was arrested at work around 3:30.
Williams allegedly raped two Bellefontaine girls under the age of 15 within the last month.
One of the victim's relatives reported the incident.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office and Logan County Children's Services assisted with the investigation.
Williams was lodged in the Logan County Jail Friday night.
