An area driver suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle wreck on the eastbound entrance ramp from State Route 347 to Route 33 Tuesday morning around 5:50.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that a 2000 Honda Civic (pictured) driven by Larry Bentley, 40, of Roundhead, was rear-ended by a '95 Ford Explorer (pictured below) operated by Kristen Fulkerson, 24, of 417 Garfield Avenue, Bellefontaine.
Bentley was transported to Union County Memorial Hospital in Marysville by Perry Township EMS.
Troopers report that Fulkerson fell asleep at the wheel.
She was not injured, but she was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance.
Both vehicles suffered moderate damage.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
The accident slowed traffic for several minutes.
