Heartland of Bellefontaine has announced it has been declared “deficiency-free” on its annual state survey. One of the highest confirmations of quality service for a nursing home is to be declared deficiency-free by the State Department of Public Health.
Nursing home regulations require that each Ohio nursing home be surveyed and rated on a range of criteria, including safety, quality of care, patient rights, food service, administration and nursing care.
Heartland was surveyed under federal and state regulations. The nursing home was found deficiency-free on all of the Department of Public Health’s criteria for Ohio nursing homes.
