The Bellefontaine Fire Department quickly contained a structure fire that was reported by a passerby Thursday night around eight o'clock.
Firefighters responded to Jason and Amy Harman's residence at 1125 Allison Road.
No one was home when the fire started.
Assistant Chief T.J. Weikart said the fire began in the rear of the house.
The fire did about $3,200 worth of damage to the structure and contents.
Fire crews were on scene for about 90 minutes.
