Saturday saw nearly 220 classic cars converge on downtown Bellefontaine for the 13th annual Top of Ohio Cruisers “Hot Summer Nights” Cruise-In to benefit the Holland Theatre.
President of the Logan County Landmark Preservation Kris Swisher describes the scene.
Vendors lined Main and Columbus downtown while vintage cars from as far back as the early 1900s parked along the same areas, as well as Court Street.
Swisher talks about what events like this mean to Bellefontaine.
A DJ provided live entertainment throughout the evening, with additional entertainment taking place both inside and outside the Holland Theatre, which was also offering tours of the historic venue.
Swisher describes the fundraiser and how the dollars are spent.
Despite the inclement weather, attendance was nearly on par with last year, as revelers were merely dampened by the rain rather than drove away.
Swisher explains what’s next for the Holland.
