An elderly driver suffered incapacitating injuries in a one-vehicle accident near Belle Center on Township Road 107 Thursday morning around 9:45.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Helen Keys, 85, of 8430 Township Road 107, Belle Center, was driving a '98 Buick northbound on 107 (four-tenths of a mile south of Township Road 51) when she went off the right side of the road and struck a culvert and a tree.
Keys was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by BMRT squad.
She was cited for failure to control and no seat belt.
Her vehicle suffered heavy damage.
