Logan County Educational Service Center Superintendent Heather Neer announces the ESC in-service for all certified staff members of Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, and Riverside will feature an inspirational message.
The keynote speaker is NYFD Chief Richard Picciotto (pictured). He is the highest ranking firefighter and the last firefighter to escape the World Trade Center before the collapse on September 11, 2001. Chief Picciotto will share his first-person account of a firefighter’s view of the 9/11 World Trade Center catastrophe and emergency response. His New York Times best-selling book, Last Man Down, chronicles his harrowing experience.
Helen Norris, EMA Director, and all Logan County First Responders are also invited to attend the event and meet personally with Chief Picciotto following his presentation.
The in-service will be at Bellefontaine High School Monday morning from 8-11.
