A rural Bellefontaine man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident near his residence at the intersection of County Road 31 and Township Road 30 Wednesday morning around 12:30.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that John Simcox, 54, of 5108 County Road 31 South, was driving a 2013 Hyundai Tiburon southbound on 31 when he went through the T-intersection (31 southbound dead ends at 30) and hit a concrete pillar.
Simcox, who was wearing his seat belt, was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Riverside EMS.
His new vehicle suffered heavy damage.
The accident remains under investigation.
