Two Bellefontaine residents were arrested after they allegedly stole 
money from a local bar Thursday night around 11:50.
Scottie Collins (pictured left), 24, of 812 Heritage Court, and Kelly Porter (pictured right), 27, of 124 Eaton, stole a tip jar at Desperado's, 6857 Lima Street, Huntsville.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office responded and found the suspects at a nearby trailer park on Napoleon Street.
Collins ran into a wooded area to avoid deputies.
After following several leads from neighbors, authorities eventually found him hiding behind a resident's grill.
Collins was charged with theft and served warrants for receiving stolen property and failure to comply with terms of community control.
Porter was charged with theft.
Both of them were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
