The Village of Quincy has issued a boil advisory for the entire village starting on Wednesday.
The reason for the advisory is a valve replacement for the Water Filtration Project at the Water Treatment Plant located at Finfrock Park in the village.
The estimated replacement time is two hours. During the valve replacement, the water supply to the village will be shut down. Residents are asked to limit their use of water at that time.
The village will remain under the advisory until samples can be taken, submitted to the lab, and results are returned to the village.
