A local driver suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident in West Liberty at the intersection of Pickrelltown Road and Race Street Saturday afternoon around 3:30.
The West Liberty Police Department reports that Frances Brown, 66, of 202 East Chillicothe Avenue, Bellefontaine, was driving a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire eastbound on Pickrelltown Road when she attempted to make a left turn in front of a westbound 1994 Chevy pickup operated by Jeff Wren, 29, of 120 North Mill Street, DeGraff.
Brown was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by the Macochee Joint Ambulance District.
She was cited for failure to yield.
Wren and his passenger, Hayden Wren, 8, were not injured.
All three occupants were wearing their seat belts.
The Sunfire had moderate damage. It was towed from the scene.
The pickup suffered minor damage.
