A Bellefontaine man was arrested after he was caught shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 2281 South Main Street, Thursday afternoon around 2:40.
Derrick Nolan (pictured), 24, of 1633 County Road 10, reportedly placed multiple electronic items in his shorts' pockets.
A loss prevention officer stopped Nolan after he attempted to leave without paying for the items.
The Bellefontaine Police Department responded and charged Nolan with theft and possession of marijuana.
Police recovered a small bag of marijuana in Nolan's pocket during the arrest.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The stolen items had a combined value of $73.50.
