A local passenger is facing a possible felony drug charge following a traffic stop on Route 36 just east of Marysville Saturday afternoon around 3:15.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol stopped Chad Shuler, 32, of 161 Tallman Street, North Lewisburg, for an alleged moving violation.
Passenger Tiffany Hoffman, 23, of 280 Magnolia Drive, Marysville, admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and heroin on herself.
Troopers recovered both drugs.
A felony charge of possession of drugs was forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review.
Hoffman was cited for a seat belt violation.
Shuler, who was driving a 2000 Chevy Malibu, was given a warning for his undisclosed moving violation.
