A city man was arrested after he attacked a county woman at his apartment Sunday morning around 1:40.
Wesley Makemson (pictured), 29, of 547 East Columbus Avenue, Apt. 14, allegedly assaulted Donna Moran, 51, of 991 State Route 274 East, Rushsylvania.
The Bellefontaine Police Department responded and found Moran on the porch. She was covered in blood and her shirt was ripped around her neck.
Moran was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.
Initially, officers could not find Makemson.
He was taken into custody Sunday morning around 10:20 when police helped Moran retrieve her personal items from the apartment.
A keyholder helped authorities enter the residence.
Makemson was charged with assault and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
