Two local children suffered possible injuries in a three-vehicle wreck in the 1200 block of South Main Street (near Kemba) Friday afternoon around 3:30.
The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Melissa Thompson, 26, of Bellefontaine, was northbound stopped in traffic when her vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Faith Bryant, 23, of Bellefontaine.
The impact forced Thompson's vehicle into a northbound car operated by Brett Roby, 24, of Bellefontaine.
A 1-year-old boy and a one-month-old infant riding with Thompson were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.
The three drivers were not injured.
Bryant was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance and a seat belt violation.
Her vehicle and Thompson's vehicle were heavily damaged.
Roby's car suffered minor damage.
