The Bellefontaine Kiwanis Club named the Kiwanian of the Year and installed their 2012-2013 officers at their weekly meeting Thursday afternoon at the Elks Building on North Main Street.
Bruce Norris of rural Rushsylvania was presented the 2012 Kiwanian of the Year.

Past President Dustin Wickersham chose Norris for a variety of reasons.
He said, "Bruce is extremely reliable. Anytime you wanted to get a project done, Bruce always said yes. Bruce is like a clock; he's always running. He helped collect money and badges at weekly meetings and collected tickets at the club's annual pancake breakfast."
Norris is a past president of the club. He's been a member for 17 years.
