Dr. Roger Kauffman (pictured) was recently named the new medical director at Green Hills Retirement Community, 6557 US 68 S, West Liberty.
As medical director, he provides strategic and operational medical leadership to achieve quality and operational performance.
Since 1980, he has practiced with Oakhill Medical Associates and will continue his private practice. He has been serving as an attending physician at Green Hills for more than 25 years.
His commitment to serving others is evident through his numerous volunteer and teaching activities as well as his medical missions to Haiti and Honduras.
In 2010, he was named by the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians as the Family Physician of the Year and as a Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Kauffman replaces Dr. Jim Lawlor who was the medical director and recently moved out of the area.
