Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office are currently looking for a convicted sex offender.
David Shaffer (pictured), 34, failed to register with the sheriff's office.
Shaffer is 6'3", 135 lbs, with a shaved head and brown eyes.
He was convicted of attempted statutory rape of a 14-year-old female in West Virginia in 1999.
Shaffer's last known address was 269 Grove Avenue, Lakeview. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
