The 2013 budget legislation was tabled until the November meeting.
The Children's Services Outreach Centers are preparing for the 6th annual Christmas in the Park fundraiser. Local businesses put up a Christmas light display at Indian Lake State Park and community members can vote for their favorite display. The event is during the first four weekends of December and runs from 6 to 9 pm. Visitors are asked to give a $5 donation per vehicle. The donations will fund the outreach centers.
Any business that wants to participate in the light display is asked to call Children’s Services Executive Director Melanie Engle at 599-7290.
Engle discusses the budget and fundraiser.
The Children’s Services Board of Directors will meet again on November 8th at 5 pm.
