A team of four juniors from Bellefontaine High School traveled to Ohio Northern University earlier this week to participate in the Math Shoot-Out. 18 schools from the Northwest Ohio area participated.
Students spent the morning working together to solve some very difficult math problems. In the afternoon they took their work to the competition floor.
Schools were fired questions and students took turns standing to explain their answers.
After several close rounds the Bellefontaine team of Jordan Fox, Nick Heydinger, Corey McLaughlin, and Olivia Martin (pictured) came out on top bringing home the traveling trophy for first place.
