Monsters and Ghouls roam the streets of Bellefontaine (Audio included)

Cold, damp weather could not deter the youth of Logan County from hitting the streets for the annual Beggar’s Night Wednesday.

In Bellefontaine, the “Fright Mix” was on the move making stops at Pepperbush Drive (pictured left), Orr Mansion, and the Lake Division. Night Mix Host Matt Smith was dressed as Shaggy, Intern J.Z. was Scooby-Doo, and Newsroom Reporter Nate Dunham was Jason (All pictured right). The group went around town handing out candy and asking monsters and ghouls what was their favorite part of Halloween.

Orr Mansion Caretaker Tim McPherson explains why he gives out candy.

The temperatures lingered in the lower 40s as superheroes, video game characters, ghost, vampires, princesses, and skeletons roamed the streets of Bellefontaine.

Pepperbush Drive resident Charlie George talks about the costumes.

Many of the children enjoyed trick-or-treat for the candy, while those who handed out candy enjoyed seeing the costumes.

Listen to monsters and ghouls talk about their costumes and their favorite part about Halloween.

WPKO/WBLL and PeakofOhio.com hope everyone had a fun Beggar’s Night and wish you a safe and Happy Halloween!
