A city passenger was charged after a traffic stop in Bellefontaine Friday night around 8:15.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle on Ludlow Road and Heritage Drive.
Kyle Birt, 22, of 1000 Rush Avenue, was issued a summons for open container.
Deputies observed Birt with an open can of beer.
The driver was not cited.
