Four area residents were charged for an underage drinking party in the city Saturday morning around 1:40.
The Bellefontaine Police Department responded to 319 North Detroit Street.
Officers approached the house and saw several people disposing beer and attempting to hide.
The host, Destanie Simpson, (pictured), 18, was arrested for obstructing official business and a failure to appear warrant.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Three other partygoers were issued summons for underage consumption, including:
Shane Wilcoxon, 20, of 2200 County Road 9, Bellefontaine,
Cody Scherer, 20, of 450 County Road 57 East, Bellefontaine,
Chiton Rogan, 18, of 736 Euclid Street, Bellefontaine.
Three adults and two juveniles at the party were not charged.
