The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol is asking for your help in solving a three-vehicle injury accident on Route 68 north of Bellefontaine near the Humane Society Tuesday morning around 5:45.
The semi driver that caused the accident fled the scene.
Troopers report that a southbound semi went left of center after cresting a hill.
Anthony Richardson, 46, of Sidney, was driving a '92 Chevy Suburban northbound on 68.
He swerved off the right side of the road to avoid the semi, then overcorrected and collided with a southbound 2006 Chevy Cobalt driven by Michael Joseph, 57, of Marion.
Richardson and Joseph were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.
Richardson, who was not wearing his seat belt, suffered serious injuries.
Joseph was wearing his seat belt.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged.
Authorities report the semi was full size, but they do not have information on the model, year, or color.
If you know anything about the semi or the driver, contact the Marysville Post at 644-8348.
The accident closed both lanes of Route 68 for about an hour.
