A Lakeview man was arrested on a felony charge following a domestic dispute with his live-in girlfriend at their 445 West Lake Street residence Monday morning around 12:30.
Quinten Miller (pictured), 25, allegedly assaulted Brandy Sherman, 28.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office responded to the residence.
Deputies report that the incident started with name calling.
Miller then grabbed Sherman by the neck and threw her on the bed. He choked her twice and struck her in the face several times.
There were marks on Sherman's face and neck.
She was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.
Miller, who has a prior domestic-related conviction, was charged with felony domestic violence and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Last Thanksgiving morning, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Miller on multiple counts following a domestic dispute with Sherman.
She told deputies that she was held against her will.
Sherman eventually escaped, then went to a friend's home and contacted the sheriff's office.
Miller was charged with abduction, felony domestic violence, and violation of a civil protection order.
He reportedly threatened Sherman with a kitchen knife.
He was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
In December, Miller was indicted for abduction (F3) and domestic violence (F4).
In February, Miller was sentenced to the West Central Community Based Correctional Facility, five years community control, and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees.
