City power outage causes Ohio Hi-Point to dismiss early

A power outage that affected a large portion of the east side of Bellefontaine prompted the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center to dismiss students Wednesday morning around 10:30.
DP&L officials report the outage affected about 1,100 customers.
The outage was reported Wednesday morning around 9:15.
Power was restored by 1 p.m.
DP&L said the outage was caused by a state tree trimming company.
