Eleven colleges and eight restaurants were featured in addition to OHP’s 20 program labs.
Funds that were raised from tasting tickets used to sample restaurant menu items directly benefited the scholarship fund. Restaurants that offered menu samples were Sweet Aromas Coffee, Donatos, Whitmore House, Sloan Inn, Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken, Chattan Loch, Jolene’s Cozy Café, and Black Tie Café.
Colleges that participated were Clark State Community College, ITT Technical Institute, Hocking College, Ohio State University Lima, Rhodes State Community College, Columbus State Community College, Urbana University, WyoTech, Owens Community College, Ohio Technical College, and Power Sport Institute.
Other vendors included some of OHP’s Satellite programs such as the student-run e-store, an OHP clothing and accessory store that is run by current Supply Chain Management students in Urbana, Aviation at Grimes Airfield and Teaching Professions in Marysville. Profits from the e-store also directly benefit the scholarship fund.
Hi-Point showcased main campus programs while also providing information about Adult Education, Customized Training for Businesses, ABLE and G.E.D.
WPKO provided an onsite broadcast of the event.
