On Friday the students of Bellefontaine High School’s DECA chapter launched the first Annual Buy Local Logan County Campaign. DECA, an association of students preparing for careers in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, hospitality and management, has partnered with the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce to create this essential campaign.
In an effort to raise awareness about the benefits of buying local, DECA has created coupon booklets that can be purchased for $15.00. Booklets include 48 offers from 37 area businesses. The offers available are great for Black Friday shopping, so don’t miss your opportunity to buy local this holiday season.
Buy Local Logan County Coupon Booklets can be purchased from any DECA member, in the Bellefontaine High School front office, at Katterhenry Investment Group or Alan Galvez Insurance. 100% of the profits from the sale will be reinvested into the Buy Local Logan County campaign.
On Tuesday Logan County residents are also invited to pick up a free cup of hot chocolate from one of the many BHS DECA students who will be standing on the corners of Main Street and Columbus Avenue between the hours of 10- 11am. We hope you stop by to help us celebrate the launch of this campaign.
