A city man was arrested on multiple felony drug charges following
a traffic stop on Ludlow Road at Blue Jacket Park Monday afternoon around three o'clock.
Keith "Nobby" Brown (pictured left), 33, of 170 McKeestown Road, Apt. B, was riding in a white 2002 Cadillac driven by Rashad Brantley (pictured right), 31, of Cincinnati.
The Bellefontaine Police Department was investigating drug activity in the Heritage Court area Monday afternoon.
The officer made the traffic stop because Brown was wanted on a failure to appear warrant from Bellefontaine Municipal Court.
During the arrest police recovered ten grams of heroin on Brown, including 55 units packaged for sale.
Brown was charged with second-degree felony counts of trafficking in heroin and possession of heroin along with a third-degree felony count of tampering with evidence.
The heroin was found underneath his jeans.
Police estimate the heroin has a street value of $4,000.
Authorities consider Brown one of the largest drug dealers in our area.
Brantley was charged with possession of marijuana and no operator's license.
Brown and Brantley were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The Cadillac was towed from the scene.
