A local driver suffered serious injuries in a T-Bone crash on State Route 273 east of Route 68 Tuesday afternoon around 4:30.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office responded to a wreck on 273 between County Road 5 and Township Road 110 in Rushcreek Township.
Deputies report that Chad Dilbone, 33, of 315 Thompson Street, Sidney, was driving a 2012 Honda Civic eastbound on 273.
Ivan Dick, 46, of 20359 County Road 75, Belle Center, was operating a 1984 Chevy pickup behind the Civic.
As Dilbone slowed to make a left turn into a private drive at 1479 State Route 273, Dick went left of center to pass.
The pickup then slammed into the driver's side of the Civic.
Dilbone, who was trapped, suffered serious injuries. He was transported from the scene by MedFlight to OSU Medical Center.
Dick was not injured.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
Both vehicles suffered disabling damage.
The accident closed the roadway for over an hour.
Rushcreek Fire and EMS along with BMRT EMS assisted at the scene.
Deputies continue their investigation.
