A wallet that was stolen several years ago was recovered in a downtown building Thursday.
Cynthia Martin, 58, of 10816 Scioto Drive, Huntsville, reported the theft to the Bellefontaine Police Department in 1994.
She said her wallet was stolen from her vehicle while at work on South Main Street.
A NetGain employee doing electric work found the wallet in the attic area of the Carnegie Building (the former library), 120 East Sandusky Avenue.
Martin's driver's license was still inside the wallet.
Authorities contacted her Thursday and she picked up the wallet Friday morning.
Police said the wallet was still in excellent condition.
