A rural West Liberty man was killed in a one-vehicle rollover crash on State Route 29 northwest of Urbana Monday night around 7:30.
The Champaign County Sheriff's Office reports that Jeffrey Dill, 48, of 2725 Sullivan Road, was driving a 2006 Dodge pickup when he lost control on a curve just west of State Route 296. The westbound truck went off the right side of the road, struck a tree, and rolled over.
Dill was pronounced dead at the scene.
Urbana Fire and EMS assisted deputies.
The pickup suffered heavy damage.
Dill was the lone occupant.
The accident remains under investigation.
It's the sixth fatal crash in Champaign County this year.
