Two local residents suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Lakeview at the intersection of State Route 235 and State Route 720 Wednesday night at nine o'clock.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Vicky Daniels, 51, of 163 Orchard Island Drive, Russells Point, was driving a 2000 Buick Regal eastbound on 720 when she went through a stop sign and was struck by a southbound car.
The southbound vehicle then went off the side of the road and struck two traffic signs.
Daniels and a passenger in her car, Travis Miller, 9, of 163 Orchard Island Drive, Russells Point, were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.
Both of them were wearing their seat belts.
Daniels was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
Troopers have not released information about the southbound vehicle and driver.
Both cars were towed.
The Lakeview Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
