A local driver suffered minor injuries in a dump truck rollover crash on Corkscrew Hill Thursday afternoon around 3:30.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway reports that David Moran, 52, of 804 North Madriver Street, Bellefontaine, was driving a 2000 Mack northbound on County Road 28 when he failed to negotiate a curve, then went off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail and tree. The dump truck was hauling a dumpster load of building material waste, which spilled off the left side of the roadway.
Moran was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Tri-Valley EMS.
Moran, who was wearing his seat belt, was cited for failure to control.
The Logan County Hazmat Team cleaned up spilled diesel fuel.
The Tri-Valley Fire Department and Perry Township EMS assisted at the scene.
The intersection of County Road 28 and County Road 153 near Adams Ski Shop was closed for nearly four hours.
The accident remains under investigation.
