West Liberty-Salem High School recently inducted new members into its chapter of the National Honor Society.

The school held a ceremony Friday afternoon for the NHS Class of 2013.
WL-S graduate Laura J. Allen spoke at the ceremony for the inductees. Since graduating from WL-S, Allen attended Ohio Northern University and received a B.S. in Biochemistry. She continued her studies at Yale University and earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Allen is currently conducting research at the University of Michigan and resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
