Bellefontaine High School helped get students excited for the holiday season by incorporating a few special events in recent weeks.

The Student Senate hosted a hall decorating contest by club and a door decorating contest by first period class.
Mr. Robinson's APUSH won the hall decorating contest and Mr. McLoed's first period class won the door decorating contest.
On Monday, Christmas songs were played over the loudspeaker between classes.
On Tuesday, Horton Hears a Who was played during lunch periods.
Donuts and hot chocolate were given out Wednesday morning.
The Yearbook staff held an ugly Christmas sweater contest on Thursday. Whitney Rader was named the student winner, and will receive a free yearbook. Mr. Hogan was the teacher winner.
The music department also held a concert for the student body during the school day on Thursday. The Symphonic Choir, Orchestra, and Symphonic Band played in the concert.
Bellefontaine let school out an hour early on Thursday to kick off the winter break.
Students and staff are excited for the holidays because it is a chance to spend some extra time with their families.
