Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to an area near CR 130 and CR 91 after receiving a call reporting a man walking in the roadway.
A Washington Township officer stopped to assist the man. When deputies arrived, they identified him as Wesley W. Bickle, 50, of 3796 Harrison Rd., Bellefontaine.
Bickle told deputies he was on his way to Bellefontaine to assault someone. Deputies observed that Bickle was intoxicated.
Officers placed Bickle under arrest for his threatening comments and his level of intoxication. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
Bickle was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
