Five sentenced in Logan County Common Pleas Court

Five were sentenced and three pled guilty before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor earlier this week.

Christopher Hannah (pictured left), 31, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to three years in prison, five years post release control, and classified as a tier II sex offender for gross sexual imposition. He must report his address to law enforcement every six months for twenty five years.

In July, Hannah was indicted for rape (F1) and three counts of gross sexual imposition (F3).

On June 5th, the Bellefontaine Police Department charged Hannah with rape and gross sexual imposition after a month-long investigation.

Officers received a sexual assault report from Logan County Children's Services on May 4th.

The alleged victim is a Bellefontaine girl under the age of 13.

The incidents reportedly happened over the last two years.

Stephanie Johnson (pictured right), 32, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to ninety days in the Logan County Jail, five years community control, and ordered to pay a $500 fine, court costs, and attorney fees for obstructing justice.

In April, Johnson was indicted on two counts of obstructing justice (F3) and one count of complicity to escape (F3) for her role in helping the juvenile escapees in March.

Leanna Hoch, 35, of Russells Point, was sentenced to five years community control, ordered to complete counseling, and ordered to pay attorney fees and court costs for trafficking in drugs.

Heather Martindale, 29, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to five years community control, a six month license suspension, she must complete Union County's drug court program, and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs, and attorney fees for trafficking in drugs.

Amber Weigel, 25, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to two years community control, ordered to complete counseling, and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs, and attorney fees for attempted possession of drugs.

Sean Newman, 28, of Bellefontaine, pled guilty to possession of drugs and was granted intervention in lieu of conviction. He must complete drug counseling and three years community control.

Cheryl Craig, 43, of Bellefontaine, pled guilty to possession of drugs and theft. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is scheduled for February 11th.

Wyatt Covington, 20, of Bellefontaine, pled guilty to robbery. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is scheduled for February 4th.
